Overview

Dear Friends,

We LOVE this itinerary and we LOVE this ship and we LOVE these teachers! Hey going to St. Kitts on Harmony with Daniela and Jackie - how can it be any better? Harmony is my all-time-favorite ship. I have many fun memories sailing on her as the crew and staff really know how to treat us well. We are quasi "famous" onboard as many of the crew have been onboard during previous trips with us. When someone says "The Quilters are onboard!" they are usually talking about Stitchin' Heaven.  Any time we visit St. Kitts we arrange a most magnificent excursion to the Caribelle Batik Factory for those interested in learning about the batik process and making their very own piece of batik. Both Daniela and Jackie have cruised with us many times and we know what incredible classes they offer. So don't wait to register - this one will fill fast!

What a perfect name for this elegant quilt. The little four patch between the blocks gives the effect of hanging blooms. And the piecework in the border adds a lovely touch for this romantic quilt.

    Cabins

With so much to do onboard, chances are really good that you will just use your cabin for changing and sleeping, but it's nice to know that if you want to spend more time there, you will indeed be comfortable. All standard staterooms are attractively decorated in soft tones with fine light woods and two pieces of artwork on the walls. Each stateroom has two beds that convert to queen-size, a private bath, phone, interactive flat-screen TV, mini-bar, hair dryers and air conditioning/heat controls. Bathrooms are on the small side, but functional, and showers have those wonderful, half-round sliding doors as opposed to clingy curtains. Soap and shampoo are also provided.

    Travel to and from Destination

You will be responsible for getting to and from the ship in Orlando (Port Canaveral), FL.

    Dress

    • Casual: You’re on vacation – relax! Jeans, polos, sundresses and blouses are all the right amount of laid back. Please keep swimwear to the Pool Deck. Shorts are welcomed for breakfast and lunch.
    • Smart Casual: Think of this as a step up from your typical dinner wear. Dress to impress with collared shirts, dresses, skirts and blouses, or pantsuits. Jackets, sports coats and blazers are snazzy and welcomed.
    • Formal: There are those on a cruise ship that make it a night out in your best black-tie look – suits and ties, tuxedos, cocktail dresses or evening gowns. However, you can also take a more simple approach and just "dress nice" meaning generally what is referred to as church clothes. A simple pair of black pants with a nice blouse would suffice on these evenings. Men can bring a sports jacket or just a nice shirt is acceptable. There will be 2 formal nights on our cruise and the food is really nice on these dinners so you don't want to miss it!

NOTE:  There are times that the Conference Center can be chilly.  Be sure and bring a light sweater just in case you get cold.

    Gratuities

Gratuities are a part of your cruise expense and total $14.50 per day. This fee covers everyone who serves you while you are onboard including all onboard staff, dining staff, and your cabin steward.  Because of our group status, Stitchin' Heaven Travel pays these gratuities for our entire group prior to sailing.  Therefore, you will be charged for them at the time of final payment. A 18 percent gratuity is automatically added to bar tabs.

    Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included, but is available for your protection from Royal Caribbean in the form of their Travel Protection Program. It is $109 per person and both cabinmates must purchase it separately. In the event insurance is used please be aware that it covers the cost of the cruise only. Sewing package fees are not refunded.
**Insurance fee will be added to your reservation total

**Residents of NY are not covered under this policy
