Jessica Swift's obsession with patterns and color began at an early age. She reflects on her childhood and remembers sitting at her grandmother's table drawing when her grandmother (a fabric-lover) told her she should be a fabric designer. She grew up in Boulder, Colorado surrounded by fabric and then attended Ithaca College in New York. Pulling inspiration from the natural world around her and it's array of shapes, colors and textures, she began to design the beautiful fabrics we have all grown to love and adore. Jessica now lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband, two children, and two cats. She spends her time painting, designing, and teaching others how to create their own repeating patterns.
