Project Info:
You’ll get exclusive access to a special project designed just for Quiltworx University students. Participation is required (this is not an open sew), but you’ll have a range of styles and sizes to choose from. Project details will be revealed later—just register, relax, and we’ll guide you when it’s time.

Kit Info:
The kit is sold separately from the event fee. Your registration includes a 6-month Quiltster subscription, letting you design your quilt or choose from pre-designed options. Updates and fabric info will be shared via email, including access to the Quiltster Portal to customize or select your kit.
Your kit will include a personalized schedule outlining which classes to attend with each instructor.
Project Option 1
Both the Fancy Flamingo and Bioluminescence patterns will be available for purchase when they are released in December.
If you choose Option 1, you’ll have the freedom to select your own fabrics and create your own kit using the yardage requirements included with the pattern. Orders placed in advance will be shipped as soon as the pattern is released.

To simplify fabric and block selection, Stitchin’ Heaven is offering exclusive, event-only fabric kits designed by Judel Niemeyer.
Each kit is cut to exact strip sizes, meticulously labeled, and ready for you to begin cutting out templates. It will be waiting for you at your quilting station, just arrive and start creating!
Order through Quiltster using Quilt Planner. Select Quiltworx University Texas 2026, customize and save your project, and place your order when ordering opens January 1, 2026.

Project Option 3
Design Your Own Custom Quilt
Create a one-of-a-kind quilt by selecting your quilt size, block options, and fabrics from over 1,500 fabrics.
You can design your quilt yourself using Quiltster (included with event enrollment and comes with a six-month subscription), or work one-on-one with Judel Niemeyer for a $40 design fee. You’ll approve the final design before your quilt is kitted.

Workshop Schedule
Day 1
Check-In & Let the Fun Begin!
Check in at 3:00-5:00PM and get settled. At 7:00PM, join us for a special welcome featuring a trunk show, introductions to Judy & Judel Niemeyer, the Certified Instructors, and the week’s schedule, along with event details and shopping specials. That evening, you’ll also have the chance to view your kit and begin preparing your foundation papers so you’re ready to dive into class on Monday morning.
Days 2 - 6
Let's Start Quilting!
Begin each day with a morning class, followed by lunch, then continue learning in the afternoon session before dinner. Each evening features inspiring trunk shows showcasing stunning quilts (and you’re welcome to share your own Judy Niemeyer quilts during show & tell, if you’d like). Afterward, enjoy open sew time until 1AM.
Your kit will include a personalized schedule outlining which classes to attend with each instructor. Additional demos will be offered throughout the week, giving you even more opportunities to learn and explore.
Friday: The morning session will focus on quilt assembly, allowing you to take notes, ask final questions, and leave with the confidence to complete your project at home. Lunch will be the final meal of the week, and you’ll have time to sew and pack up before the 3:30PM close.

Payment Schedule Note: Depending on when you register, larger percentage fees may be due. For example, if you register on August 1 you will pay 50% of the total fee (the initial deposit amount and the July 1 payment. Your 3rd payment will be on January1).

All on-site accommodations are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Individual room assignments will be made as needed. Single rooms are only available at the hotel; the Retreat Center and Cottages do not offer single occupancy. Cottage accommodations are shared by four students. The Bunkhouse is also shared and has limited availability, with a maximum of 10 guests.
If you have specific rooming requests, please include them in your registration or email us directly.
Off-Site Option:
The off-site registration rate is $2,399 + tax and does not include lodging. This option is ideal for those commuting daily or arranging their own hotel accommodations.
Quiltworx University 2026 - Terms and Conditions
A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $300 per person is necessary to secure your spot at the event and is required at the time of registration. The $300 non-refundable deposit will be applied to your balance.
Payments of $300 are due each month on the 15th or the next business day. The final payment for any remaining balance is due on January 15, 2026. Please note that the event prices will vary based on the lodging option you choose.
Payment Schedule:
· A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required at the time of registration.
· A monthly payment of $300 is due on the 15th of each month or the next business day if that date falls on a weekend or holiday.
· Final Balance Due: January 15, 2026.
If you register on or after the final payment deadline, the full amount will need to be paid at that time the final payment will include the non-refundable $300 deposit.
Cancellation & Refund:
Stitchin’ Heaven hopes everyone who registers for Quiltworx University Stitchin’ Heaven can attend; however, we know extenuating circumstances do occur. The Stitchin’ Heaven Cancellation and Refund Policies are as follows.
· All cancellations made after registration will result in the loss of the non-refundable deposit of $300.
· Cancellations made more than 6 months prior to the event forfeit a $600 fee will be retained.
· Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to the event forfeit the $900 fee will be retained.
· Cancellations made within 90 days of the event will forfeit all paid fees. No refund will be given for Registrants canceling after January 15, 2026, no refund will be given, and the cancellation policy will not be waived. Registration fees may be transferred to another individual.
We understand that sometimes illness and tragedy occur at the last minute and may make it impossible for you to attend the event. We understand that there are circumstances beyond your control, but it also leaves us with a vacancy that we are unable to fill and still have to pay for your spot.
Cancellations will only be accepted in writing, either through mail or email, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and transaction number.
If Stitchin’ Heaven must cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances, Stitchin’ Heaven will refund all fees paid to participants. Stitchin’ Heaven does not assume responsibility for additional costs, charges, or expenses, including payments made for travel and lodging.
