About Laura Piland

Laura is quilter, pattern designer, deal hunter, and homeschooling mom of three boys. Having previously worked as a math teacher, her fondness for pi is evident with a last name like Piland. Designing and publishing quilt patterns since 2016, her work has garnered recognition in magazines, newspapers, and fabric company catalogs, with her patterns being sought after in quilt shops globally. Laura enjoys connecting with fellow quilters during visits to shops, retreats, guild meetings, and various quilting events nationwide, eagerly looking forward to meeting new people and sewing together with them.
