To support our growth and creative endeavors, we are seeking a talented Production Artist to join our team in Quitman, TX.

Roles and Responsibilities

Handling of all tasks related to cutting kits needed for retail at Stitchin’ Heaven. Tasks will be assigned by individual based on workload and location. Procedures developed by the Lead will be followed to insure standardized completion of each task. They will include but not be limited to the following

• Collaborate with the Production Lead and Creative Lead to communicate expectations and requirements for fabric cutting using laser cutting machines.
• Execute technical projects, ensuring all variations and configurations meet cutting specifications.
• Create and manipulate raster and vector artwork, including retouching and recreating existing designs as needed.
• Generate print-ready mechanical files by following provided directions, including naming conventions, file organization, and server usage.
• Provide accurate and printable artwork for review and ensure projects meet production requirements.
• Maintain consistency across printed materials and product elements, ensuring brand integrity.
• Analyze and evaluate projects to determine the most efficient execution methods.
• Revise artwork based on guidance and direction from the team.
• Perform flight checks and collect files for output upon project completion.
• Back up and archive final artwork as directed.
• The Production Artist/Vector Design Specialist will keep the Team Lead apprised of ideas for making the department operate better and ways to better facilitate upcoming kit cutting activities.

Qualifications for the Job

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, and general office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience demonstrating technical knowledge and proficiency in a similar role.
• Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
