Birds on a Wire! Learn a new and exciting way to use the Studio 180 Design Wing Clipper and Tucker Trimmer! Learn a variation of the Geese on Edge technique. Start with a simple square, add logs, add a goose, and repeat. There are lots of possible variations! Birds on a Wire pattern offers four different variations, and four sizes using the same technique and fabric. This technique is so fun, you will not be able to stop! Quilts can be made bigger by adding more blocks.
This is a fabulous Stash or Scrap Buster project! You can use mixed scraps, Fat Quarters, Fat Eights, etc. for the Bright Fabrics. The Background can be a mixed of fabrics, as well, or yardage. The high contrast between the Background fabric and the Bright fabric gives this quilt energy! In addition to Background and Bright fabrics, you will need an accent fabric to create the fabulous wire. This pattern is made using Studio 180 Design's Tucker Trimmer™ I and Wing Clipper™ tools
