Class Description: Join our hands-on sewing class and create the Hovea Jacket with Pat! This workshop offers a unique opportunity to craft your own Hovea Jacket, a stylish and versatile garment perfect for the cooler seasons. Designed with a relaxed drop-shoulder silhouette, the Hovea jacket includes multiple length variations, deep-angled feature pockets, and is available in unlined, fully lined, or quilted finishes. Choose from belt or tie closures to personalize your fit. During the class, the talented Miss Pat will guide you through the process of adding a cozy hood to your jacket, ensuring you stay warm and stylish this fall.

Pre-Class Quilting Requirement: To maximize your workshop experience, pre-class preparation is required: Ensure your fabric for the Hovea Jacket is quilted prior to the class.

Fabric Selection Tips: IMPORTANT: Avoid using directional fabrics for this project as it necessitates additional fabric and frequent adjustments during the sewing process.

When selecting your fabric, consider the importance of choosing the correct yardage for quilting. The Hovea Jacket offers the exciting possibility of being reversible, featuring two distinct fabrics and optional matching or contrasting binding. Before purchasing fabric, check the pattern for your size as fabric requirements may vary.
