Who are these retreats for?
Our retreats are designed for quilters of all experience levels — from confident beginners to advanced sewists. Each retreat focuses on creativity, community, and uninterrupted sewing time.
What should I bring to the retreat?
Please bring your sewing projects along with all necessary sewing supplies and personal items. A detailed supply list will be available to help you prepare via email prior to the event.
Do I need to bring my own sewing machine?
Yes, guests should bring their own sewing machine unless otherwise noted on the event page. Machines must be in good working order and recently serviced.
Can I reserve a rental sewing machine for the retreat?
Yes! If you prefer not to travel with your sewing machine, you may request a rental machine during registration. Please note: We have a limited number of machines available for rental. Availability may vary depending on offsite cruise schedules.
If you’re not familiar with the rental machine, no worries — our staff will be available to help you get comfortable using it. We’ll also take care of cleaning the machine and changing needles throughout the retreat.

Is thread provided if I reserve a sewing machine rental?
Yes, we provide a light, neutral-colored thread. If you prefer a specific color, please bring your own thread.

Sleeping arrangements vary by retreat and cottage. Each guest will have their own bed, and linens are provided.

Yes! Roommate requests can be made during registration. We’ll do our best to accommodate all requests.

Meals and snacks are included for most on-site retreats. Menus will be emailed prior to the event.
Can dietary needs be accommodated?
We are unable to accommodate dietary preferences, dislikes, or lifestyle choices beyond the planned menu. However, food allergies must be disclosed so they can be addressed appropriately with the chef.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages. The Retreat Center includes a commercial-size refrigerator and a full kitchen for storage and preparation.
