Tucked among towering trees in the beautiful East Texas landscape, The Bunkhouse is a 2,200 square-foot log cabin built for the way quilters and sewists actually like to retreat — together, comfortably, and without ever having to pack up your machine at the end of the day.
At the heart of it all is a dedicated 1,500 square-foot sewing room with an ironing station, extra outlets for all your equipment, and deluxe sewing chairs so you can stitch in comfort from the first cup of coffee to the last seam of the night. Spread out, leave your projects set up, and let the creativity flow.
When it's time to step away from the machine, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, and free WiFi throughout the cabin. Want to make it a true getaway? Local services make it easy to schedule extras like a massage therapist, a facial, or a night out at the movies — and if you'd rather not cook, catering is available by request to keep your group fed and happy.
The space sleeps up to 14, with two bedrooms of twin-sized beds plus upper bunks, and three full bathrooms with showers and tubs. It's the perfect home base for a guild, a group of friends, or a family that sews.

Booking Details
- Rate: $35 per night, per person, plus taxes and applicable fees
- Minimum stay: 2 nights / 8 guests
- Cleaning fee: $150 non-refundable, required to hold your reservation (this fee is separate from and not applied toward your total reservation cost)
- Balance: Your total stay charge is collected one month prior to arrival
- Check-in: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (early check-in is not permitted)
- Check-out: 12:00 PM

Directions from Quitman: Take FM 778 about 6 miles to CR 3250. Turn left and go less than ½ mile. The driveway is on the right — look for the vintage "Stitchin' Heaven" sign on the white fence, still featuring our old Scraps the cat logo!
