About Stitchin' Heaven

Stitchin’ Heaven is an independent, family-owned quilt shop and online destination for quilters and sewists of all levels. Since 1996, Stitchin’ Heaven has provided quilting and sewing materials, Block of the Month programs, and exclusive Quilt Kits. In addition, travel experiences that include cruises, bus trips and retreats are a part of the diversity at Stitchin' Heaven.

The 17,500 square foot facility in Quitman, Texas is the largest quilt shop in the state, providing space for quilters to come together to shop, take classes and build friendships.

Our Mission

Stitchin' Heaven offers the highest quality fabrics with over 10,000 different fabrics from which to choose as well as one of the largest selections of quilting notions in our industry. Known as the Block of the Month Headquarters, Stitchin' Heaven has a constant library of ever changing programs open to delight and inspire for registration. Our Mission. Wow people. Have fun. The Team

Deb Luttrell

Founder & Quilt Shop Matriarch
Deb Luttrell founded Stitchin’ Heaven in 1996 after stepping away from two successful careers in the corporate world, combining her love of quilting with her passion for community and entrepreneurship. What began as a local quilt shop has since grown into a nationally recognized quilting destination, all rooted in Deb’s original vision of bringing quilters together.
 
Today, Deb enjoys her well-earned retirement while continuing to serve as the founder and inspiration behind the Stitchin’ Heaven community she built. She is incredibly proud of her son, Clay, who now leads the business, and nothing brings her more joy than being “MoMo” to Aspen and Beckham.
 
When she’s not spending time with family, Deb still loves sewing with friends, meeting fellow quilters, and enjoying life with her faithful Shih Tzu, Jack, never straying too far from the creative community she helped create.

Clay Luttrell

Co-Owner & President
Clay Luttrell has been part of Stitchin’ Heaven since nearly the very beginning. Long before he was helping lead the business, he was a kid hanging around the shop after school, even making a log cabin quilt for his dad in the 6th grade as a Christmas gift.
 
Today, Clay serves as Co-Owner, helping guide the vision, growth, and long-term strategy of Stitchin’ Heaven as it has evolved into one of the most recognized quilting destinations in the country. Stitchin' Heaven is known for their retreats, cruises, and the expansive 67,000 sq ft quilting campus in Quitman, Texas.
 
Clay is passionate about building businesses that create community and meaningful experiences for customers. When he’s not working on new ideas or supporting the team, you’ll likely find him reading business and personal development books, working on his golf game, or spending intentional time with his kids, Aspen and Beckham.
