Quilt As You Go

One of the easiest ways to make a quilt using a BERNINA Q 16 is to use this Quilt as You Go (QAYG) method that I am demonstrating today with this simple project!  Here’s what I’ll be sharing with you in this tutorial:

  • Demonstration of quilting over raw-edged collage quilt blocks
  • Joining the blocks together with a tidy seam on the back
  • Applying sashing along the seams on the front of the quilt

And as a little bonus…

I’m going to share with you my method for adding a border on a QAYG project!  (You’ll want to see this super simple solution)
