Helen admits to a little craziness when it comes to things she loves! Some of her loves include 51 recipe books, 64 pairs of shoes (and counting), 5 kids, 2 adorable grandchildren, 7 sewing machines, bolts and bolts of fabric and 100s of fat quarters, and 1 very supportive hubby! Helen has been sewing since 1973 when she made a pair of pale green polyester pants in 4-H club! Helen began quilting in 1997 and fell in love with the entire process of design, fabric shopping, piecing and quilting! Nine years ago Helen bought a long-arm Gammill classic and fell in love with quilting all over again because she could put the finishing flourish on her piles and piles of quilt tops that were waiting for that last layer of love. Six years ago she began working with her sister Jenny and Sew Kind of Wonderful creating fresh new contemporary quilts using the Quick Curve Ruler. The curved piecing and contemporary designs in their work has made quilting fun, quick and easy. They have over 50 patterns which use the Quick Curve Ruler and/or the QCR Mini Ruler. They have two books published with Landauer Publishing, Contemporary Curved Quilts and One Wonderful Curve.
Daniela is the owner of Cozy Quilt Shop in El Cajon, California. She has published many books and patterns under Cozy Quilt Designs. Her quilt shop called Cozy Quilt Shop opened in 2003.
Soon after they opened their doors, Daniela started to design patterns for a program she called Strip Club. The patterns were based on 2 1/2" strips and a new craze was born along with a crazy new publishing venture. Daniela has now published over 200 patterns, and many books, along with her best-selling Strip Tube Ruler! In addition to the shop and the pattern business, she also designs beautiful batik fabrics for Timeless Treasures. And you can catch her on YouTube!

Because it’s so close to the Caribbean and The Bahamas, Miami is known as the cruise capital of the world. But it’s more than just convenient — rev up for your cruise from Miami with the city’s nonstop action, from party-ready South Beach to the Mediterranean style of Coral Gables, plus spicy Little Havana, which hums to an island beat.

Roatan welcomes divers and snorkelers eager to explore the thriving coral reef. Boaters, beachgoers, and water-sports fans enjoy the sparkling seas, too. The island also has a multicultural population, some descended from pirates. Visit the Caribbean’s largest barrier reef, the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. Lying just offshore, it's a favorite spot for divers and snorkelers to see colorful corals and an amazing array of marine life.
Puerto Costa Maya
Since there are only 2 sea days on this itinerary, we will be offering a quilting class while we are in port. Feel free to go ashore at lunch or finish class early to see the port.
Cozumel features great diving, snorkeling and beaches, marine-life encounters, botanical gardens, trails and shopping in the town of San Miguel. The nearby mainland is home to Tulum, Mayan cliff side ruins overlooking the Caribbean. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the ruins of the ancient Mayan city of Tulúm, majestically perched above the turquoise Caribbean. The site was occupied as far back as 600 A.D. However, it was most densely populated around 1200 A.D. You will be struck by the pyramid-shaped El Castillo, which dominates the city from atop a forty-foot cliff. The nearby Temple of the Descending God provides equally excellent insight into the architecture of the Mayan people, who gained considerable achievements in the arts and sciences, only to decline and vanish for no apparent reason.

Each stateroom has two beds that convert to queen-size, a private bath, phone, interactive flat-screen TV, mini-bar, hair dryers and air conditioning/heat controls.
