Dear Quilting Friends,
Let's ride in style and with full comfort on Allure of the Seas as she sails you away for a week of quilting, friends, and fun. Along with Certified Quiltworx Instructor Sandra Coffey and Blogging Sensation Allison Harris (Cluck, Cluck, Sew) you'll learn something new and get to meet some amazing ladies. Get ready to soak up the delights with activities catered just for quilters: learn new design ideas, meet other quilters, attend classes on all things quilting, and so much more.
During this trip, we will get to know the techniques used in making these projects, and enjoy the beauty of the Caribbean. What a treat! We will have the experience of sailing on Allure of the Seas from Galveston. You will be able to see the newly constructed $125 million cruise terminal inside and out. We can swim with the dolphins, taste some tamales, and visit the ancient Mayan ruins. I sincerely hope you can join us on the educational and enjoyable cruise.

We look forward to our next adventure together with you!
Sandra's passion is fiber art, especially quilting. She has been sewing since childhood and then made clothing for her entire family after she married. She learned the art of quilting soon after moving to Alaska. Sandra started quilting in 1976 and is always open to new techniques and patterns. She began teaching in 1995 and loves to share the skills needed to pass on this beautiful tradition. She is one of our most beloved local teachers and is Judy Niemeyer Certified!
Sandra joined our Stitchin' Heaven family in 2006 as the Block of the Month manager. She is also a long arm quilter. She does beautiful work quilting many of our shop models, several of which, have been featured in magazines.
Allison found her start in the quilting industry through her blog cluckclucksew.com in 2007 and quickly fell in love with sharing tutorials and creating projects. She has written and published over 150 quilt patterns with her business Cluck Cluck Sew, and written and contributed to many quilting books. Her favorite part of quilting is choosing the fabrics, and watching the small pieces of cut fabric turn into something beautiful. Most of her patterns and quilts have a modern look combined with traditional styles and patterns. Mixing and matching fabric lines is her favorite way to create, and she has designed 8 fabric lines with Windham Fabrics, her newest line Forget-me-not will be released October '22. She loves all parts of the quilting industry she's been a part of, but her first love is teaching, and connecting to other quilters through her blog and tutorials. Allison lives outside of Seattle with her husband and 4 children. When she's not quilting and working, she's also a Dental Hygienist, and loves hiking, kayaking, baking, and taking long quiet walks in the forest by her home. To see what Allison is currently making and working on, visit cluckclucksew.com or on Instagram @cluckclucksew
