Betsy Chutchian developed a passionate interest in fabric, quilts, sewing and history as a child. Betsy began teaching 10 years after she graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her passion lies in making quilts and reproducing 19th Century quilts through teaching and presentations. She is the author of several books such as “Gone to Texas”, “Quilts from a Pioneer Woman’s Journal”, and many more. She is the co-founder of the 19th Century Patchwork Divas which is a block exchange group dedicated to 1800’s reproduction fabric. Her passion for antique quilts and fabric has led her to design with Moda Fabrics.
