Sunet on the Sound Quilt Pattern

Sunset on the Sound was inspired by a beautiful sunset on the Long Island Sound. Originally this pattern was released as one of Michelle’s Mystery Series in 2019. However, due to popular demand, Michelle has converted it into a regular pattern. This quilt is perfect for one of those beautiful borders you have been saving for the perfect quilt. Start with a Border, select a light, medium and dark fabric to match the main color of the border and then select 3 accent colors. Michelle went with a Triadic color plan, selecting a light, medium and dark Blue, pairing it with a Fuchsia and Green to complete the Triadic color plan, and selected Golden Yellow for her accent. Selecting a light, medium and dark fabric is critical to create the secondary design in the quilt, which gives it the circular motion.
