Her passion for fabric and quilts of the past inspires beautiful reproduction quilts, which incorporates today's simplified quilt making tools and techniques.

Using antique quilts as her inspiration, Paula designs traditional timeless quilts. Her designs are reproductions of actual antique quilts or are inspired by them. Paula designs reproduction fabrics with Marcus Brothers.

Paula has over 20 years of teaching experience in Dallas and Houston quilt shops, and enjoys numerous distinctions and guild affiliations throughout the state of Texas.

Homefront

The Homefront Quilt is a tribute to the indomitable spirit of women through history. This exquisite quilt celebrates the essential roles women have played during times of peace and conflict. From the Revolutionary War to the present day, women have stepped into roles traditionally held by men, taking on the responsibilities of maintaining homes, businesses, and farms while their loved ones fought in battles far from home. The Homefront Quilt is more than just pieces of fabric; it's a symbol of resilience, strength, and the critical contributions of women who have steadfastly supported their families and communities through every challenge. Crafted with care, this quilt is a poignant reminder of the bravery and endurance of women who have kept the homefront secure, making it a perfect addition to any home as a piece of historical homage and inspiration.

Finished Quilt Size: 67" x 67"

If you choose not to purchase one of our Sail N Sew Kits, 4.25 yards of coordinated backing fabric will be needed.

NOTE: If you choose to provide your own fabric you will need the Homefront quilt pattern.
