Amanda, aka Jedi Craft Girl, has been quilting for 24 years. She loves, loves, loves fabric — and that’s what keeps her quilting. Amanda is a fabric designer for Riley Blake Designs. She writes and publishes quilt patterns and writes for the All People Quilt publications, and she is the author of Playful Precut Quilts and More Playful Precut Quilts from C&T Publishing. Amanda has a wide range of interests, which are reflected in her fabric designs — most of which include cats.

This quilt features a field of eight-point stars, each one blooming with a mix of florals, subtle prints, and gentle pink hues. Teaching Patchwork Blooms

Beverly grew up in a creative family of artists and seamstresses, so it’s no surprise that she loves to create. She began sewing and doing needlework as a teenager, making her own clothes and room décor even then. That love for sewing and crafting has grown to include quilting, pattern design, and fabric design! Her blog, Flamingo Toes, was born out of a love of sharing those projects. Her style is best described as a mix between modern and vintage — she loves taking old styles and making them new and fun again. She is married to her high school sweetheart and lives near Nashville, Tennessee. Beverly designs quilt and embroidery patterns as well as fabric for Riley Blake Designs, and she is the author of Retro Stitchery and Make it Mini.
