Marilyn Foreman

Teaching Everlasting

An avid quilter for over 20 years, Marilyn started her pattern company, Quilt Moments, in 2006, and lives in a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota with her husband and three kids. She has published over 50 patterns and a book titled "Kaleidoscope Symphony," and has a Craftsy class, "Quilted Kaleidoscopes." With a background in analysis, she loves designing quilts that look complicated yet use basic piecing techniques, always offering a variety of sizes and fabric options.

Whether it's batik block units, four-patch kaleidoscopes, panel showcases, or her popular Twister tools (she's co-owner at TwisterSistersDesigns.com), all her techniques are addictive and fun!

Sherri Noel is a talented and passionate quilter with a creative spirit, designing unique quilts and sharing her talent through her website, RebeccaMaeDesigns.com, named after her two daughters. She is widely recognized for her Block of the Month quilt-a-longs, including her popular Dear Daughter BOM quilt, Scandinavian-inspired designs, and her whimsical, charming style.

  • Day 2 · At Sea — Spend a full day at sea getting to know your fellow quilters and settling into the onboard classroom.
  • Day 3 · Sitka, AK (9:30 AM–5:00 PM) — Wake up to the forested shoreline of Sitka, Alaska, a former Russian trading post rich with history and coastal charm.
  • Day 4 · Skagway, AK (7:00 AM–8:00 PM) — Wander the wooden boardwalks of historic Skagway, Alaska, a gold rush town frozen in time.
  • Day 5 · Dawes Glacier (5:00–9:30 AM) — Cruise right up to Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier for a morning of scenic glacier viewing before continuing on to port.
  • Day 5 · Juneau, AK (1:00–8:00 PM) — Spend the afternoon and evening in Juneau, Alaska, the only state capital accessible solely by air or sea.
  • Day 6 · At Sea — Quilting, classes, and relaxation as you sail south.

There is a $350 per person deposit due at registration which will secure your price and availability.

This fee includes your cruise fare PLUS all fees to the teachers, a premier sewing machine for the entire cruise, all associated class activities, and classroom support. You may purchase our precut Sail n Sew kit (supplies are limited) or you are welcome to bring your own precut fabric.

Group travel allows us to provide special touches that are not available on an individual reservation. And unfortunately, discounts from Royal Caribbean are not allowed through our group program. In order to take full benefit from everything Stitchin' Heaven offers on our cruises, you must register through Stitchin' Heaven Travel.
