45 Days Out — Online Check-In & What Happens Next

45 days out

It is time for online check-in with the cruise line — the one piece of this trip only you can do. Here is exactly what that means, and what we handle for you.

Online check-in: the one job that is yours

Registering with Stitchin' Heaven got you your spot, your cabin, your class and your kit. It does not check you in with the cruise line. That is a separate step, done directly with them, and they will not let you board without it.

Do it through your cruise line's app or website. Have these ready:

  • Your booking or reservation number — if you cannot find it, call us and we will read it to you.
  • Your passport (or the ID your itinerary requires).
  • A photo for your boarding pass — taken on your phone is fine.
  • Your arrival time at the port, and emergency contact details.

When you finish, you will get luggage tags and a boarding pass. Print the luggage tags and put them on your bags before you leave home — it makes the pier much easier.

Who does what

We handle You handle
Your cabin with the cruise line, your class, your quilt kit, and everything Stitchin' Heaven does onboard. Online check-in, your travel documents, getting yourself to the port, and your flights or hotel if you booked them separately.

What sailing day looks like

Board, drop your things, breathe. Then find us: our welcome meeting is at 7PM on departure day. That is where you meet your group, get the lay of the ship, and hear how the sewing days will run. Come even if you are tired — especially if you are tired. It is the moment the whole trip clicks.

Before you pack

Sewing supplies come with rules at sea, and they are not the same on every ship. Read this before your suitcase comes out: packing your sewing supplies. And at 30 days, run through the full checklist.

Stuck on check-in?

This trips up plenty of experienced travelers — you are not the only one. Call (903) 760-7397 or email cruises@stitchinheaven.com and we will walk you through it, step by step, on the phone.
