We're going back to the OG: New Year's Day, pajamas, and a brand-new mystery quilt sewn start to finish with Deb. Sew along from home or join us in the shop. Pick your kit theme when you register, and we'll get your clues to you ahead of time so you're ready to go on January 1.

Every kit is the same pattern in a different theme fabric with coordinates. Pick your favorite when you register.

The coordinating fabrics that complete your quilt top and binding are part of the mystery and will remain a surprise until your kit arrives.

What you'll need

  • ·Your kit, or eight fabrics of your own (amounts come with clue one)
  • ·Backing — sold separately, not included in the kit
  • ·Sewing machine in good working order
  • ·Rotary cutter, mat, and acrylic ruler
  • ·Basic sewing supplies: thread, pins, scissors, seam ripper
  • ·Iron and pressing surface

Using your own fabric? Full cutting requirements go out with clue one on December 1.

Questions

Do I have to buy a kit?

No. You can use your own fabric — you'll need eight fabrics, and the exact amounts come with clue one on December 1.

Is backing included?

No. We'll show you backing options that go with each theme, and you can add one to your order.

What if I can't sew the whole day?

You'll get all five clues as PDFs, so you can finish at your own pace. The replay goes up on YouTube afterward.
