The Teachers

Lori Dickman

Lori Dickman has loved fabric and color since childhood. She began sewing her own clothes and bridal ensembles in her teens, then discovered quilting in the mid-1980s—and she hasn’t stopped creating quilts since. While working full-time as an administrative secretary, Lori always made time to quilt. In 2015 she started teaching and lecturing at quilt guilds; after retiring in 2020, quilting, teaching, designing, and lecturing became her full-time pursuits. In 2022 she launched a YouTube channel to share her passion worldwide.
Her first self-published book, Speedy Solutions to Cut & Organize Your Scrap Stash!, is available on her website (quiltingwithlori.com) and on Amazon (Kindle, outside the U.S.). Her second book, Scrappy Speedy Solutions Patterns, offers 12 scrap-quilt designs using her signature techniques.

Rebecca Lidstrom

Rebecca Lidstrom is the founder and creative force behind Studio R Quilts. A devoted quilter, designer, and teacher, her quilting adventure began in 2004, sparking an enduring love for all things quilt-related. She specializes in transforming simple designs into eye-catching quilts that are a breeze to create. Her patterns have appeared in various quilting magazines, and she was featured as a Maywood Maker in 2023. Rebecca also shares her expertise through lectures, trunk shows, and classes for quilt enthusiasts. Quilting from her studio in Madison, WI, she invites you to join her online at www.studiorquilts.com or on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube @studiorquilts.
