Quilting Instructors & Projects

Tina Lueders

Tina's love of sewing originated from her grandmother, who gave her a needle, thread, and scrap fabric at the age of 4. She has been sewing ever since, primarily focusing on garment sewing. When she started working as a secretary and needed a professional wardrobe, she began making outfits from patterns inspired by "Dynasty." She has owned a commercial embroidery business and made custom western apparel for many clients.

Tina considers herself a relatively "young" quilter, having taken up the art of quilting about 15 years ago. She walked into a little quilt store with a friend and fell in love with Judy Neimeyer patterns. The next week, she was taking a class and loving every minute of it. Her favorite type of quilts are paper piecing. After helping with Quiltworx University and retreats at Stitchin’ Heaven, Tina decided she loves teaching and is now a Quiltworx Certified Instructor.

Haystack Cookies

Haystack Cookies is the perfect introduction to Quiltworx and Judy’s techniques for paper piecing. This is a fun little project made from Tilda’s whimsical and
beautiful fabrics.
The kit contains all the fabrics to complete the quilt top including borders and binding, and the pattern with required foundation papers.

Sherri is best known for her Block of the Month quilt-a-longs, her Dear Daughter BOM quilt, Scandinavian designs, and whimsical style. She believes that quilting is a form of creative expression and often adds wool, pearl cotton, and hand embroidery to her quilts for depth and texture. As a passionate member of the sewing community, Sherri enjoys sharing her talents and knowledge with others. You can find her at RebeccaMaeDesigns.com or on Instagram at RebeccaMaeDesigns.
