Joanna Figueroa, owner of the renowned design company, Fig Tree & Co. emigrated to the United States of America from Poland, in 1975. Joanna's father brought his family to America with only a few thousand dollars to their name and the hope of creating a better life for all of them. This would begin to send Joanna down her own path to chasing her dreams. Learning how to work hard from an early age, gave Joanna the motivation she needed to become resourceful and business smart. Throughout her life, Joanna still loved to talk with her father about chasing dreams and as she grew older and Fig Tree & Co was gaining momentum, it was her dreams they would talk over together. Joanna still pursues her love for designing color palettes, fabrics, and quilting, crediting her father as the legacy behind her accomplishments.
