The Woodcarver’s Star is a Queen-size version of the block used in the Prismatic Star pattern. With the pattern and foundation pieces, you can complete a 99" x 99" quilt top without any Y-seams, using 2-1/2” strips. This design features the windmill block created with the Reclaimed West fabric collection and is Judy’s first Broken Star Quilt Design.

This Queen-size quilt requires just under 21 yards of fabric, making it one of the most efficient Queen designs ever published by Quiltworx. The cover quilt was pieced and quilted by Quiltworx staff and one of our Certified Instructors, Diana Simkins.

Important note: To complete this project, you will need 9 yards of backing fabric (42" regular fabric) and 7/8 yards of binding fabric (42" regular fabric).
