Vanessa Christenson

Vanessa Christenson is a wife and mom of four humans and an obnoxious needy pants cat, who likes to quilt, sew, decorate, run her mouth, hang out with other women who can stand her, exercise, and fake organize the death out of anything (i.e. get rid of things). When she’s not designing for Moda Fabrics she’s a life coach to crafty women who are looking to reduce stress and add some fitness/nutrition balance into their life so they can enjoy their craft of choice with a calm heart, mind and body.

She started V and Co back when her husband was deployed (because why wouldn’t a mom of four add yet another thing to her plate) and has since grown it into the go-to place for amazing ombre quilting fabric and patterns. Vanessa calls Iowa home — although as a California native — she’s still not a big fan of Midwest winters.”

Walk in the Park

Escape to a serene oasis of beauty and tranquility with Walk in the Park, a mesmerizing quilt pattern inspired by the vibrant colors of island sunshine and blooming flowers. Using our exquisite ombre fabrics, this pattern effortlessly creates the illusion of a diverse range of shades from different bolts, with just a few carefully selected colors.

Walk in the Park captures the essence of natural beauty with seamless gradient transitions, evoking the sensation of strolling through a picturesque park filled with dappled sunlight and blossoming blooms. Discover the joy of creating a visually stunning quilt with ease as you embrace the simplicity of this pattern. Whether you're an experienced quilter or a beginner looking for a captivating project, Walk in the Park invites you to immerse yourself in the world of color and design.

Finished Quilt Size: 72” x 88”

5.5 yards of coordinated backing fabric will be needed.

NOTE: If you choose to provide your own fabric you will need the Walk in the Park pattern.
