No matter if you have a small room in an apartment, a she-shed, or a large Red Barn behind your house, Sew Special Sewing Spaces has the opportunity to spark an idea of creativity or organization to enhance your 'Sew Special Sewing Space'.

Submit Your Sew Special Sewing Space

We are seeking video and blog submissions for our Sew Special Sewing Spaces series. Accepted video submissions receive a $25 Stitchin' Heaven Gift Card. Videos with blog submissions get $50. Use the checklist and show off your sewing space.

Video - Guidelines

  • Showcase every aspect of your sewing room. Fabric organization, fabric/project collections, notions, sewing machines, etc.
  • Film Horizontal and in HD (720P or 1080P). It is best film your video horizontal because of the way a majority of social media users watch video.
  • Use a mic if possible. If there is not a mic available speak clearly and loud so your devices internal mic will be able to pick up your speaking.
  • Have someone film you. People want to see you showcasing the sewing space.

Blog Guidelines

  • Submit High Quality photos of your sewing space. It is recommended to submit 7-10 photos. For each photo, submitted, we recommend 2-3 sentences describing the photo.
  • Sew Special Sewing Spaces is all about experience and community. Tell the reader more about you, why you sew or quilt, and how your sewing space came to be.
