Stordalen Garden Block of the Month - Begins September 2024

Stordalen Garden, designed by Hugs’N Kisses, pays tribute to her parents' beautiful garden. With a Norwegian background, ‘Stordalen’ was the name of their family soldier settlers' farm at Maaoupe and then their garden. Combining modern day techniques, traditional piecing, and a touch of English paper piecing along with a simple quilt as you go process to put it all together to make this quilt enjoyable from beginning to end. When finished you will have your own garden of solace. High-quality quilter’s cotton prints will be used, fabric substitutions will match as closely to the photo as possible.

During this 10-month program, you will receive the pattern and fabrics necessary to complete the quilt top, including border and binding. Backing fabric is also included in this program. The program will begin in September 2024. There is a non-refundable registration fee of $25, then just $38.95 a month. *

The finished quilt measures approximately 60” x 70”.

Backing Fabric: We know how nice it is to have a coordinated backing when you complete your quilt, therefore our BOM programs are all inclusive and include the backing fabric.
