Meet The Owners

Deb Luttrell

Deb opened Stitchin' Heaven in 1996 after two successful careers in the corporate world. She has one son, Clay, who is her business partner. Aspen and Beckham are the most beautiful, smart, exceptional grandchildren on earth according to Deb. Jack, a Shih Tzu, is her faithful companion. Deb loves to sew with her friends, meet new people, and hang out with her family.

Clay Luttrell

Clay has been a part of Stitchin' Heaven from almost inception. When he was in the 6th grade, he would come to the store after school and work on a log cabin quilt that he had made for his dad as a Christmas gift. Clay has two children, Aspen and Beckham. He enjoys reading self-optimization books, loves to work on his golf game, and enjoys hanging out with his family.

Our Leadership Team

Mark Skalla

President

Meet Mark, a highly accomplished marketing professional with a knack for all things data, spreadsheets, and technology. With his keen understanding of the industry and razor-sharp wit, he's a valuable asset to our team. His intelligence is matched only by his sense of humor, making him fun to work with.

Mark is happily married to his wife Jaime and is a proud pet parent to Daisy the dog and two cats. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and taking care of his furry companions.

Throughout his career, Mark has consistently demonstrated his ability to analyze data, create effective strategies and lead successful marketing campaigns. He has a talent for turning complex data into actionable insights, and has a keen eye for identifying new opportunities.

Trisha Ragsdale

Customer Service Manager

In 2005, Trisha entered Stitchin' Heaven and applied for a job despite lacking experience in quilting. However, her proficiency in sewing clothes made her sewing machine a trusted companion. Throughout her tenure at Stitchin' Heaven, Trisha has held various positions and currently oversees the "personal side" of the business, encompassing Customer Service and Human Resources. Growing up in Yantis, a small town nearby, Trisha has always remained connected to her East Texas roots. While she cherishes her family, including her husband and son, her beloved furry companions, Lego and Rosie, hold a special place in her heart. Trisha's guiding principle in life is encapsulated by the words of Abraham Lincoln: "Kindness is the only service that will stand the storm of life and not wash out."

Erin Troyer

Travel, Events, & Retail Manager

Erin came to work at Stitchin' Heaven in 2013 and she had never quilted before. She was quickly converted, however and now she loves quilting. Born and raised in Quitman, TX, she has adopted the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers as her favorite sports teams. Erin is married to Michael and they have 3 amazing kids - Brianna, Dyllan, and Tenleigh. Her favorite quote is  "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." – Maya Angelou
