Deb Luttrell

Quilting Queen

Deb opened Stitchin' Heaven in 1996 after two successful careers in the corporate world. She has one son, Clay, who is her business partner. Aspen and Beckham are the most beautiful, smart, exceptional grandchildren on earth according to Deb. Jack, a Shih Tzu, is her faithful companion. Deb loves to sew with her friends, meet new people, and hang out with her family.

Clay Luttrell

Fabric Cowboy

Clay has been a part of Stitchin' Heaven from almost inception. When he was in the 6th grade he would come to the store after school and work on a log cabin quilt that he made for his dad as a Christmas gift. Clay and Rachel live in Tyler and are parents to Aspen and Beckham. He enjoys reading self-optimization books, loves to work on his golf game, and enjoys hanging out with his family.

Trisha Ragsdale

Sales and Events Manager

In 2005 Trisha walked into Stitchin' Heaven and applied for a job. She never had quilted although she had made lots of clothes so her sewing machine was her friend. Trish has held several positions during her time at Stitchin' Heaven and her current one finds her in charge of all things sales and event related. Born in Tyler, TX, she grew up in Yantis - always a Texas girl. She loves her Texas Rangers, her boys (hubby and son), but her favorites are her dogs - Annie and Lego. Her life motto is "Happiness isn't about getting what you want all the time. It is about loving what you have and being grateful for it."

Michelle Fitzgerald

Block of the Month Manager

Michelle was born in Seattle, Washington and currently lives on Lake Fork so it is no surprise that she is an avid fisher-woman. She came to work at Stitchin' Heaven in 2017 and had formally worked at a furniture manufacturing company in the DFW area. She has 3 fur babies - a poodle, a Shih-Tzu, and an English Bulldog. Dallas Cowboys are on the top of her favorite team list and her favorite quote is "Just Do It".  

Dianna Zavala (Dee)

Internet Order Specialist

Dianna began her career at Stitchin' Heaven in 2018. She was born in nearby Sulphur Springs and has resided in Mineola for 27 years. The love of her life is her little boy, Eli and they have movie night once a week. Her favorite quotes are "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and "Si puedes soñarlo puedes hacerlo" which means "If you dream it, you can do it."

Sandra Coffey

Customer Experience Specialist

Sandra joined our family in 2005 and was our Block of the Month manager.  She has since chosen to 'retire' to just three days a week and she helps where she can; from the shop to cutting BOMS and even teaching on our cruises.  Born in East Texas, she and her husband raised their family in Alaska where she learned to quilt.  Sandra is multi-talented. In addition to being a Judy Niemeyer Certified Teacher, she does does beautiful longarm quilting.  She has made and quilted many of our shop models and been featured in magazines.

Cortni Finney

Inventory Specialist

Born in Mt Pleasant, TX in 1980, Cortni is an 80's baby. She loves her job but says she is far from being a quilter (for now). Cortni joined the Stitchin' Heaven family in 2017 and has four children - Katelan, Kedron, Bryston, and Braydon. They have two dogs and enjoy country living. Her favorite sports team is the Big Sandy Wildcats. The quote she lives by is "F.L.Y. First Love Yourself. Others will come next."

Lydia Morrison

Bookkeeper & Customer Experience Specialist

Lydia joined our family in 2007 and has held several positions since then; including Block of the Month Specialist and Inventory Specialist.  Lydia keeps us all in check now as our bookkeeper, but she is always happy to help out with customers in the store or answering emails. Lydia was born and raised in Pennsylvania and has a great love for all animals.  She and her husband have cows, dogs, cats, a bird, and even a bunny.  Lydia loves to quilt when she has free time and has made several quilts.  She has one son, who is a police officer, and one grandson.  Lydia is a true asset to our family.

Sharon Campbell

Social Marketing Specialist

Sharon joined Stitchin’ Heaven in 2018 and with a background in advertising and journalism, she is our communication / social media specialist and loves every minute of it. Originally from Dallas, she raised her family in Carrollton and had the opportunity to live on South Padre Island, working in news journalism. She has 3 children, 9 grandchildren, and 3 rescue kitties that rule the household. Her family is very sports minded and stays busy with baseball, triathlons and football. Sharon’s sports passion is surfing, and her creative outlets are creating wheel-thrown pottery and painting. Her life message is “Always have faith and believe in the Journey.”

Erin Troyer

Travel Specialist

Erin came to work at Stitchin' Heaven in 2013 and she had never quilted before. She was quickly converted, however and now she loves quilting. Born and raised in Quitman, TX, she has adopted the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers as her favorite sports teams. Erin is married to Michael and they have 3 amazing kids - Brianna, Dyllan, and Tenleigh. Her favorite quote is  "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." – Maya Angelou

Vicki Damon

Travel Specialist

Vicki is a Texas gal born in Dallas and has been quilting since 2004 when her daughter went to college. She is currently learning to long arm all those quilt tops she has made. She lives in Grand Saline with her hubby, Danny, and 4 cats-Timothy, Skeeter, Frito, and Cheeto. She enjoys the company of a flock of chickens and we all enjoy the fresh eggs they produce. Vicki has one daughter, Stephanie who is married to Doug. Her favorite quote is from Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." Vicki has been at Stitchin' Heaven since 2011.

Connie Sundberg

Travel Specialist

Connie has been quilting since 2008 and wishes she had started earlier. She says that Alaska will always be her home and the 1985 Chicago Bears were her favorite team and she will forever be a loyal Bear fan. Two outstanding grandchildren bless her life and she adores them. Her most meaningful phrase is "Just put on your Big Girl panties and Go For It!" She began working at Stitchin' Heaven in 2018 and feels it is really Heaven as she gets to touch, feel, and cut fabric all day long!

Debbie Mauelshagen

Travel Specialist

Debbie says she was born and raised in Michigan and got to Texas quickly after a 10-year layover in Atlanta, GA. She has lived in Texas for 30 years now and is awaiting her naturalization certificate from our great state.  She learned to sew as a child and has sewn professionally for 35 years, mostly on the garment/home decor side. Debbie taught sewing to kids through adults from beginning to advanced skill levels for 15 years at her local sewing and craft store in Frisco, TX. Before joining the AWESOME Travel staff at Stitchin' Heaven in 2018 she had a custom sewing and alteration business for 30+ years. She enjoys smocking, fine embroidery, French hand-sewing by machine, applique, and currently she is falling in love with quilting. Still married to her college sweetheart, they have a son and two daughters (both who want to be taught to quilt), a very sweet grandson, and two very cute and extremely spoiled fur babies. She loves the quote from C. S. Lewis "You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream."

Lyne Pickens

Travel Specialist

Born in Louisiana and raised in Texas, Lyne has also lived in Virginia, Georgia, California and Hawaii. Also quilters, Lyne's Mother and grandmother, began teaching her to sew, knit and crochet around the age of 8 years old. Lyne also enjoys designing and creating a variety of different art forms, such as, batiks, embroidery, pottery, painting and bead work.  Lyne joined our Stitchin' Heaven team in 2017 and instantly became an integral part of our family.

Mandy Gardner

Block of the Month Specialist

Mandy has been at Stitchin' Heaven since 2006. She was born in west Texas and has two kids, seven grandkids, and three fur babies. Her grandmother taught her quilting when she was old enough to reach the foot peddle on a sewing machine and has quilted for over 25 years. The Dallas Cowboys is her favorite football team. "Live Life to the Fullest" is her life motto. Mandy is responsible for billing and processing all the block of the month programs. She is one busy lady!

Gloria Roman

Block of the Month Specialist

Gloria is the longest tenured employee at Stitchin' Heaven. She has held many various positions and is currently cutting BOM kits. Her specialty is Dear Jane but she is responsible for many others as well. Gloria was born in Mexico but has lived in Texas most of her life. She has 3 wonderful grown children and lots of chickens. She loves the quote "You is smart. You is kind. You is important." -The Help

Nancy Curry

Block of the Month Specialist

Nancy came to work at Stitchin' Heaven in 2016 as our Machine Quilting Specialist. When the long arm machine was sold, she accepted the position as a Block of the Month Specialist. She was born in Dallas and is not a quilter (yet). Nancy has one cat and 3 dogs. Her favorite saying is "If you ask the question, you have a 50/50 chance of getting a YES!"

Amanda Carter

Block of the Month Specialist

Amanda is a Texas girl who was born in Winnsboro and raised in Alba about 10 minutes from the current Stitchin' Heaven location in Mineola. She has never lived in any state but Texas. She is not yet a quilter but has high hopes of learning when her 3 kids get a little older and she actually has some free time. She has 3 children: Patience (5 years old), Aiden (3 years old), and Haven who is a year old. There are also 3 four-legged members in her family. Both are Pugs named Cowboy and Karma. Amanda loves the Texas Rangers. Her motto is "You cannot live a positive life with a negative mind." She's awesome.

Rosie Melo

Kit Cutting Specialist

Rosie began working at Stitchin' Heaven in 2017, was born in Mexico but raised in Texas. She is not a quilter but loves cutting fabric for quilt kits. She also loves the sport of CrossFit and is an active competitor. Rosie has been married to Pedro for 25+ years, has 3 children, and is looking forward to grandbabies. Her favorite quote is "You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try."

Lorena Roman

Block of the Month Specialist

Lorena is daughter of Gloria and has worked at Stitchin' Heaven on and off since she was in Jr. High School. Currently she holds a folding position in our Block of the Month department. Lorena was born in Sulphur Springs, TX and her favorite quote is "Every day may not be good but there is something good in every day."

Tina Lueders

Block of the Month Specialist

A valued part of our family since early 2018, Tina interviewed for her position during the transition from her Texas Gulf Coast roots to build a new home on a nearby lake in East Texas.  Literally, while moving furniture, she stopped to bring quilts and interview with us.  She made such an impression, we just had to have her.  In addition to her love of quilting and Judy Niemeyer designs, she enjoys watching soccer and spending time with her three wonderful grandchildren.  Her favorite quote is "You're never too important to be nice to people."

Michelle (Shelly) Campbell

Block of the Month Specialist

Michelle began working with us just this year in our Block of the Month department.  She has lived in Texas for 16 years.  She and her husband have two boys, four dogs, three cats and two goats.  She loves to sew!  Michelle has a passion for fabric and admits to 'petting' the fabric as she walks through the shop.  Her favorite quote is "Sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast!"
